Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in becoming an American, travel, and my home city of San Francisco. Hope you enjoy!

New York x 3

New York x 3

After visiting NY for the first time a few years ago, I couldn't wait to get back. Luckily I had a project in Manhattan this past year and got to visit three times - in the winter, spring (barely) and summer. Last January I was only there for 48 hours but managed to fit in a walk through the snowy city, a visit to the Whitney with Gabby and an incredible dinner at Momofuku Nishi. Only problem with the walk through the city was I didn't really have snow gear so I did my best layering and then ping pong-ed through the city to stop in coffee shops for hot tea.

I gave myself a bit more time for my second trip in March by flying in a day early to get a little touristing done. I stayed in the Ace Hotel and spent my free day wandering around in the gorgeous sunshine- it was the best!

My last trip was in July to wrap up the project. I've never sweat that much in my life - the summers are no joke! This trip was all about the food - managed to check out EatalyCookie Do, The Wren, Momofuku Ssam and Momofuku Milk Bar . On the recommendation of my friend Carly, I went to Death & Co for awesome cocktails.

Can't wait until I can go back to my favorite East Coast city - anyone want to take a trip? :-)
